Kids can enjoy a bit of the beach year round here. The Sandlot features a giant sand pit with various sand molding toys. If sand is too messy for you, kids can visit The Splash Zone, where you’ll find giant water tables and floating toys.
A trampoline park is the perfect place for your child to jump out that pent up energy. Sky Zone looks like it caters mainly to adults, but there is a section specifically for toddlers to enjoy.
Yes! The popular play-set maker will let your child play in the showroom. This place has everything! Trampolines, swing sets, climbing castles, and ropes.
Bathe in the warmth as butterflies and birds frolic around you. Relax and watch the fish. Dig and find fossils. This place is best when you can attend their events.
Sanford Health provides a free play area in Empire Mall, near Dillard’s and Camping World. It’s not as impressive as the other options here, or even the older play area they used to have at this spot, but the kids will still enjoy sliding and climbing here. There are also several pay toddler rides throughout the mall.
Even when it’s too cold to see the animals outside, the zoo has a large indoor area with animal exhibits. There is even a tiny playground for toddlers at the rear of the building.
I never knew Washington Pavilion had such great science exhibits for kids! Their “Room to Grow” area is made for kids 7 and under, and will keep your kid occupied for hours.
